Today's capital cities have been undergoing drastic changes in mobility, which directly affect the speed of transit and hence the turnover of last-mile distribution equipment. Within the interests of fleet managers worldwide, there is a need to improve asset utilization rates, the number of deliveries, and/or the number of trips. Taking into account the above, the intelligent fleet management model allows to establish control models that integrate in a transversal way the relevant variables of operation, additionally allowing to prioritize high impact actions to overcome the restrictions of the production system and capture better levels of efficiency, which will be represented in: Better fleet revenues, financial viability in fleet ownership, mechanical availability, lower emission factor, better-paid crews, better OTIF levels, and higher sales share.
