The majority of fleet managers in Mexico operate in “silos” with their primary interactions restricted to within their companies and suppliers. Also, the overwhelming majority of fleet managers in Mexico learn about fleet management on the job. To remedy these challenges, the Asociacion Mexicana de Administradores de Flotilla Automotriz (AMAFA) has created an association that allows fleet managers to learn from one another and is now developing a first-ever fleet certification program geared to the fleet market in Mexico.
